Jay is a current student at Saint Louis Community College Meramec with sights set on an Associates Degree in Horticulture, as well as a Certificate in Cannabis and Hemp Production. Jay’s deep interest in plants continues to drive their urge to continue learning, being very lucky and grateful to have started in the industry early. Beginning as an internship at Saluna in Summer of 2024 and then continuing as part of the team once Fall 2024 semester began. Complimenting college classes, Saluna has provided hands-on experience and knowledge at the forefront of the budding hemp industry.

In Jay’s free time they enjoy going to the gym, taking care of their three dogs, taking weekend camping trips, and hiking with their partner whenever the weather permits.”
